This archive spans 5.3 years of puzzles, starting from June 19, 2021 up to October 8, 2026, for a total of 1,938 answers. The Wordle answers are scored on a difficulty scale from Easy to Hard, and the average difficulty is shown below. Wordle Statistics
The most interesting fact is that Wordle has scored all 1960 puzzles based on the same difficulty scale. Wordle’s answer scores are calculated by combining NYT tester results with players' shared data, which is posted on the public forums. Complete data is weighted before presenting the final scores.
Besides, for older Wordle answers without actual performance data, the score is estimated based on word analysis. It is precisely mentioned that it is not calculated but estimated, informed by the word’s characteristics.

These are the highest overall puzzle answers in the list, rated using the same scoring method and difficulty levels featured on the homepage and difficulty report. If two words tie on a score, the most recent answer appears in the archive.
For example, the words SLATE — Dec 18, 2022 and CRANE — Jun 20, 2023 are scored as 5.8; CRANE is listed in the archive as the more recent answer.

Is there Any Repeated Answer in Wordle?
Yes, according to Wordle, 25 answers have resurfaced more than once in the list. These answers account for 1.3% of the total Wordle answers archive. The most repeated answer so far has appeared in 2026. Also, they have appeared twice, no more than that. Based on the statistics, players encountered the most repeats in March, May, and August 2026, with 4 reused answers each time. Note that the median recurrence interval between appearances is 4.6 years. The word SANDY appeared after 524 days which is considered the fastest occurrence. In contrast, FORTH resurfaced after 1,867 days.

Wordle Letter Frequency
S sits well ahead of the pack because 289 past answers started with the letter S, contributing to 14.9% of answers. Letter C ranks second with 170 answers and 8.8%. B fills the next tier at 147, which makes up 7.6% of answers, while T and A ranked at 6.7% and 6.4%. Among all published answers, the top three contestants hold a 31.3% share, while the other ten contain 70.6% of answers; check the graph for the remaining ten letters.
On the other hand, J, Y, and Z account for 25 answers, making an average rate of 1.2%. At this point, players can get an edge because a rare final letter shrinks the pool quickly compared to the common letters. Very few words start with rare letters. These numbers are based on the 1,934 answers published up to yesterday.
